Service is less than you would expect. Food used to be really good, but has gone downhill since Katrina. When I complained to the owner, he basically said he didn't care what I thought. We have stopped going to Phil's after being regulars for years. The view of the Marina is nice.

This is in the Eden Isles and there is a patio that you can sit out on and eat...the have a superb fried shrimp plate at a great price...you can dock your boat here..or hang out and have a beer and peel some boiled seafood at the bar..its a neighborhood freindly place
Nice atmosphere especially at sunset. Food was good mostly fair prices except the specials like the boiled shrimp, which hit our pockets heavy. If the weather cooperates, sit outside. Our service was fair at best but could be in training. We know that post-K service industry has been lax in this...
We frequent Phil's since Katrina--usually go by boat. I find the food and service have improved greatly since katrina. Love the old Salvaggio's menu- Softshell Crab Duddy/ Patrick. Nice casual dining- great for a large group. Bread pudding is outstanding.
We visited the cafe for the first time this weekend, were very impressed with the service, the quality of the food, and the prices. I have family in Slidell, and will return to this cafe each time we visit.
We are regular customers at Phils Cafe. We usually go by boat. You can't beat their shrimp special. It's an overall good eating experience.

The Pizza Depot has the greatest lasagna. This was my first time eating lasagna and I cant get enough.
