An interesting place to go. Blue grass on Sunday afternoons. During the hunting season, hunters bring in what they've bagged and get tags, etc. Lots of local color. It "is" a country store. The locals eat there. Generous portions. People are friendly.
We ate there two or three times. The portions are VERY generous and the food generally is good. There's a lot ambience. On Sundays there's bluegrass jams. And Heuers really is a country store. In the fall it is a hunter's drop of place for recording their deer and so forth. Very American. The...
had breakfast there and the food was good but the older guy who was in the kitchen that morning has a disgusting way of talking to the waitresses. I'm glad i did not have my children with me.
When started the food was really good and service was A+ but the last couple of years it has gone way down.
