We couldn't wait to try this place on the weekend when they push the cart for Dim Sum. The parking lot was jam packed and we thought there would be a ling wait. However we were pleasantly surprised to find out that this place is bigger than it looks on the outside. We were immediately seated at a l...
Dim Sum, yum! Week days it's only available at lunch only by order. Well worth the wait for weekend Dim Sum. Selecting from the carts as they make their way from the kitchen through the dining areas is a true pleasure.
My 10yo son adores IHOP. He and I visited this morning. He made a special request during a busy time. Unfortunately, this was made incorrectly, and we waited half an hour for the corrected item, and had to repeat at least five separate times to four individuals these words, "We want a funny face ...
IHOP USED TO BE THE PLACE TO EAT SO MANY PEOPLE HAVE WENT DOWN HILL BECAUSE THEY SEEMED THE FORGET HOW TO KEEP A FOOD BUSINESS GOING...GOOD FOOD AND CONSISTENCE!
This morning I suddenly had an intense craving for corned beef hash and so I looked to my GPS to help find me the nearest IHOP. It found the one in North Pointe. When it was time to order I asked the waitress if I can have just the corned beef hash. She said no and that I had to order it with a meal...
No matter what the waitstaff tells you, do NOT order ribs at this IHOP. We were told that they were good....not excellent but good. They were gross. The fat to meat ratio was incredible and when we complained, the waiter just mumbled something about, "That's too bad." We should have known better....
New York style pizza....the one with the thin crust
It's not easy to find a really good Mom 'n Pop shop in the Triangle Area. JJFish and Chicken serves generous portions of homemade food for a fair price.
The fish is awesome and the chicken nuggents/tenders are homemade (not parts)
A new place in Durham has become quickly and local favorite. The hot dogs with there homemade chili is incredible. Steamed buns are a plus and make the hot dog. The burgers were off the chart as well!! Must try!!!
While I was in the Chapel Hill area visiting, I asked some friends where I could find good sushi. Two different parties answered simultaneously, "Kanki". I decided to try it and was not disappointed. Half of the restaurant serves as a hibachi-style Japanese steakhouse and the other as a sophistic...
We bought a slew of goodies to try including eclairs, strawberry shortcake, cupcakes, and a black and white cookie. Everything looked picture perfect and mouthwatering! The eclairs were kind of stale unfortunately but everything else was very tasty. The black and white was better than some i have ha...
This is one of the best places to go for lunch in Durham. The portions are huge, and the food is great, all for under $6. On top of that, you're always out in thirty minutes.
I have been enjoying the coffe for the past two years, atlist 5 days a week with all my co-workers. Great coffe, great service friendly workers. Recently we all seen changes on the coffe shop, watery coffe unfriendly management, even if complain the quality of the coffe you get charged. Pleas do so...
I've eaten at the bistro 5 times and each time I have been very satisfied in every category.
It's so much better than many places I have eaten that were rated higher.
Second time we have waited for more than 10 minutes after sitting down at the table before a wait staff member took our drink order.
What can I say... it's PF Chang's! Service was excellent even though we showed up half hour before closing. Their food was good as usual. I had the short ribs for appetizers which was excellent! The seabass was as tender as ever and their desserts was awesome.
GOOD authentic Vietnamese Food, feels like your in Vietnam.
it smells like poop! and all the waitors are poopers!! ew
Pulcinella's is a good Italian Restaurant. The food is always consistent and delicious. My favorites are their Lasagna and Eggplant Parm. The servers are friendly and attentive, and restaurant ambiance is pleasant and very clean. I would recommend it as someone did to us when we moved to Durham...
Good food & value, especially compared to SouthPoint's restaurants where the wait can be too long. It's better to drive the 5 minutes up 751 & goto Pulcinella's.
There's often very little waiting to be seated. It's a local's favorite for Italian.
