As a native Gastonian my family has always gone to Blacks for our BBQ. All the others in town just don't quite measure up. The large minced sandwich with some of that extra slaw is just amazing! The slaw has just the right amount of spice. The staff is super friendly. All of our out of town guests h...

Ok if you don't mind meat that is not smokey flavored. Slaw reminds me of Thousand Island Dressing with cabbage in it. It's just a Gaston County Tradition! Hot Dogs and Hamburgers and Livermush are better than the Barbecue!

I absolutely love the food @ this location....the food is fresh and moist. I feel that anyone who loves chinese food should try this location.
this place has the best blackened steak bites and steak salad in the world. the main cook andy really takes pride in his job and is a culinary guiness. also there home fried chips with blue cheese is to die for. the only thing i can think of to make it any better would have to be fried pickels. it's...

HELLO FREDDIE, BEEN AWHILE , MISS YOUR MARGARITAS. HAVE A COOL ONE ONE ME! LUV YA!
Delicious entrees and pizza.
The food is good, but the service is terrible. I prefer take-out orders from this restaurants.
Food and Service were great. The prices give you a big bang for your buck.
Food was properly prepared and in a timely manner. Server seemed more interested in talking with friends than serving us. Overall I will go back often and ask for different server. Portions are good and priices are a good value. Also they do not charge extra to share, and they have a kids menu.
The restauraunt is in a beautiful Edwardianesque house. The servers dress in lace pinafores over floral dresses, and the food is great. It's definately more of a ladies styled restaraunt. No offense please gentlemen.
the food is very good. i enjoy the choices of oriental food or american.
This restaurant has changed owners. It is now called Jenny's Purple Rose. They kept the Chinese cuisine, added Vietnamese, and stopped serving the International cuisine. The Chinese dishes are excellent. The Vietnamese was fair. The international menu will be greatly missed.
Outback Steakhouse is over rated for the price. Portions are not comparable with other steakhouse prices.

food is well prepared and the staff is friendly
Fill yourself up and get misserable! Food is good but old order from grill format is best! Buffets are making Americans too fat!
you can tell theres new managment. always out of food.beans beans i never new there were so many beans.untill i eat at gastonia ryans.I guess ill be back . But not to soon at least untill they run out of beans.
The only problem that we had with dining at this resturaunt was the rude and inattentive waitresses. They openly argued over who was going to serve customer who came in, while customers, like us, who were already seated couldn't get refills on our drnks, to go boxes or even the check for at least fi...

Ive eaten here a number of times. The food is not consistant. Had killer fried shimp one visit and overbread- undercooked the next time. It much more like a burger joint than a seafood place. Their menu is common with mean nothing names. Cocktails and beer are expensive although they have some good...
Food is great...for take out orders. Don't waste your time in the store, order over the phone and go home and eat it. The resaraunt itself is kind of dinjy, w/ a dirty look, and not so great of service.
We've been customers of jacksons for years. The new location is SO much nicer. The portions have gotten smaller for more money - I guess that's just the economy - THANK YOU for a great place to eat !
