The food is early American style, and the restaurant dates from the 1700's. Servers are in period costume. The food was outstanding, with extra-tender meats flavored with great sauces. Everyone, even the pickiest eaters, loved their meal.
My family and I can't eat here enough. Whenever we are in town we try to eat there at least once. The lemon ice cream and gingerbread is the best desert in the world. I have taken friends there from all over the world and they have loved this restaurant.
I was really impressed with this restaurant! The service was excellent even though it was a busy 4 of July holiday. The food was fresh and delicious, especially the mashed potatoes! The kids menu is nice because it has a better variety than the average junk food kids menu and the quality is excellen...
