the best in the us
My boyfriend took me to Malara's for a nice dinner after church. I did not like it. I love eating out at different places but this place was not my favorite. I just had pasta with meatballs. The texture and flavor of the meatballs was not like anything I've ever had. I don't know what kind of m...

Excellent HUGE portions, but the hostess needs to lighten up! WHAT A CRAB! The waiters and waitresses were fine however.
A "B-" to "C+" Italian menu. Not so authentic for anyone who has actually dined in Sicilly. The linguine with clams is offered with red, white, or olive oil/garlic; I chose the latter. I received four or five actual small clams, and the generous portion of linguine was then covered with diced clams ...
Had a wonderful time at Pasta Amore. Our reservation was for 8:00 and it took them over a half an hour to get us in. I was a bit disappointed at that but once we sat down it was wonderful. They offered gulten-free pasta and that made my night. I have stayed away from Italian in Omaha because of ...
We thought we had found a jewel in Nebraska Dining. I have traveled all over the US and have eaten at many different restaurant. My wife and I found this restaurant on this site, it sounded good so we figured we would give it a try. First impression was outstanding. The outside looks like a ho...
Some of the reviews for Malara's express how great the food is and how the sauce is amazing. Being relatively new to NE, I followed similar suggestions made by some aquaintances. This once highly regarded restaurant has turned itself into a rowdy and sometimes dangerous nightclub with a young crowd that does not respect the more mature customers that used to be loyal to Anthony's..... NO MORE!

This food is about as authentically Italian as Olive Garden. These poor, dumb people have been peddling the worst version of neo-American Italian crud since Ragu. Tragically over-cooked pasta and an antipasto of cubed cheddar, swiss and pepperjack should be offensive enough to anyone who has suffere...

Terrible service!!! From the hostess to the wait staff in the lounge and at the table. Good food, but not worth spending over three hours being treated like an uninvited guest.

The staff is terrible, that is for sure. The house wine is garbage. the food is good, but they give you so much and over charge you for it. there is only so much pasta that you need to eat in one meal. be prepared to wait, and for it to be crowded.
Service was horrible horrible horrible. The server was not busy but just terribly SLOW. We waited forever after being seated to give drink orders, another 20 minutes or more for her to come take our order, at least fifteen minutes after asking for the check to get it. The food was good but when t...

Never Go back again! and for all those who believe this is a great place to eat need to stop comparing your experence with taco inn with this place. And yes the experence with the hostess is not a good one to be sure.

I've been to Italy, and THIS restaurant is as close as you're going to get!
