A friend told me of this place so we went for a weekday meal. The service was friendly and courteous if not spectacular and the décor was pleasant family restaurant, neat and clean. The food was unremarkable, bisque with excessive flour for thickening and bland boring crab cakes. Probably a good pla...
Convenient spot for a bite to eat if seafood is a must. Clean restaurant with good service. Food is uninspired with little flavor. Doughy flavor to the crab cakes and clams casino were greasy. The lemon wedges were fresh and tasty. Overpriced for what was served.
There was a little portion, on my plate, (like I was French), too many old people, and way overpriced for the amount of food. Sitting down was slow, line moves Slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.
We've been going to Gallo's for over thrirty years. Never been disappointed.
There is a fine selection of seafood. Specials are done with a lot of flair and portions are nice. The staff is courtious, helpfull, and attentive. Seafood is not cheap, but this restaurant gives you a good value for the money. I would highly recomend the talapia, shrimp three ways, and the wild...
All I care about is that the food is awesome here. It is as good or better as Italian restaurants in South Philly. They have the absolute best pan fried crab cakes, all jumbo lump crabmeat in them. And the Linguine and Crabmeat is to die for! Way, way too many old people! Its like dinner time at t...
My only negative comment is the fact that you do not take credit cards, as it is very difficult when you have a good of six or more and cannot determine before hand the cost that will be incurred.
yo this is the most bangin seafood around the cook PETE MAKES THE BEST GRILLED CHEESES I EVER HAD. you got to try the all new appatizer sampaler its the best
the food is great, but more importantly, it is exceptionally prepared. the honey glazed salmon melts in your mouth. the salads are always fresh. the steak is tender & juicy. never disappointed.
The best crabcakes outside of Maryland! Prices are good also; large portions, good service. It's been a few years since I last was there but it will be on my "go back" list.
Everything about Gallo's is great. The food is top of the line, the servers are always nice and do anything to make you feel welcome, and the restaurant is always kept clean. The platters always look like something out of a magazine.Everything i eat there is always thes best i ever had!
Great restaurant, best in northeast Phila. Have been going for years. Fish is always top notch, fresh and well prepared. All jumbo lump crab in their crabcakes, little filler if any. We enjoy the cedar roatsted salmon, baked stuffed flounder and their filet mignon is as good as the top steak hou...

Cafe Breezes is like home away from home but with a 5 star restaurant feel. They dont serve your typical bar. They have salamon fettucini, lamb chops, grilled garlic chicken. Food you would not see in a corner bar. The ambience is excellent and so is the service

Club Breezes is fortunate to have survived an ever changing economy, yet remain consistant in the quality of service to its patrons! 2013 will prove to be a banner year for Club Breezes, because of the visionary Victor Ragan along with his partners and staff. I look forward to hearing live music t...

this place was awsome!!!
UNBELIEVABLE!!! The food at Charlie's Country Ribs will make you tastebuds throw a party for your mouth. Not just the ribs , which feature Charlie's homemade saucs, but everything they serve tastes abosolutely G-R-R-R-EATT!!! I would highly recomend Charlie's to Lottie, Dottie, and Everybody.
In Philadelphia the term 'kosher' is thrown around too leisurely. Please, make sure that the restaurant you wish to eat at is "KOSHER" under "ORTHODOX SUPERVISION." Contact either the Community Vaad of Philadelphia or Kosher Technical Konsultants for clarification of standards.

If the restaurant was called the N word because the owner had big lips and that was his nickname growing up, do you seriously think that would be OK? That name would be changed in a second. So the fact that this restaurant is still called "Chinks" is wrong. The problem with the name Chinks is that i...

I have been going to Chink's since I was in my teens(1950's). We used to stop by for a cheesesteak and a black & white milkshake after school and football practices. I no longer live in Philly but when I am in town I make sure I go by Chink's. I have taken my children and my grandchildren there. We...
