Alfredo's has great food but bottom line it is WAY OVERPRICED and it TAKES TOO LONG TO GET ANYTHING no matter what time of day it is. TAKE OUT IS TERRIBLE. Great food but don't have anywhere to go or expect it to be correct & then when it takes over an hour and it's wrong don't expect management t...

We visited the restaurant for our first time on Friday night @ 7:00. We waited about 20 min. for salad, and soup, the waiter brought us bread after, which we were waiting to have it with our salads. My entree, pecan-encrusted sole wasn't good at all, the fish smothered in a honey-lime sauce which wa...

The food is excellent. The service is lacking unfortunatley. It is a nice place but don't be in a hurry...
Awesome food! Big portions for cheap!!
You can't beat the price for the amount of food you get. Also, all the food is homemade. My service was fast and overall the food was great.

A cozy, intimate place with a very large selection of various Italian dishes. I have visited this restaurant numerous times and I have been satisfied every time. The portions are generous and the food is delicious. The service is wonderful. I recommend this restaurant for anyone from the pizza lo...

Good Sesame Chicken and boneless ribs. They used to have string beans, but got rid of them. One of the better buffets in Scranton.
I can not believe that this place would get any accolades. It's awful. The food is average at best. The lobster fondue is awful. I can not believe that this is considered the best place in Scranton. I am new to this area and coming from New York City. If this is the best Scranton has to offer; then ...
We were here about a year ago but the place has slipped horribly since then. The food quality was horrid and the preparation not much better. We had to wait forever for our server but those items weren't even the bad part. There is absolutely no excuse for the uncleanliness. Soap is cheap and virtua...
A far cry from what it used to be. The beer selection and ambiance are good but the food quality was very poor and cleanliness was even wosre. I cannnot understand why any business owner would ever think that he or she can rest on what was a good reputation and think it will ever stay good.
I grew up in Scranton and return often to visit. Having eaten at Coopers many years ago a few of us decided to dine there. The ambiance is quite unique and they have a large beer menu. It was without a doubt the worse dining experience of my life. The food was vextremely low quality and poorly prepa...

I am sad to report a very bad experience, not once, but all of 4 visits to Cooper's in Scranton.Friends of ours live in Clark's Summit and insist this is 'the place' to eat in Scranton. My husband claims this is the absolute worst meal he has ever eaten in a restaurant.AND,he ordered Lobster, believing ...
Our family recently ate at this restaurant. We have been going here for years. What a disappointment. The menu has been changed drastically. All the good selections were gone. We were so disappointed. Our food was terrible. Our waiter was a former busboy who spent all his time texting his fri...
After I kept being told by locals how great this place was, I decided that I had to give it a try. Unfortunately, these locals haven't actually DINED at this establishment in many years--they have just sit at the bar, occasionally ordering a fried appetizer to accompany their beers. Overall...
The service is good, other than that you'd be better off buying Mrs. Pauls which is located in the freezer section of your local grocer. (No tip required!)
I could't wait to try Cooper's I saw their ad in Happening's magazine. I found the food to be fair at best. The Crab Bisque which claimed had been in Bon Appetite magazine tasted like cod with flour and milk. The seasonal beer I had was outstanding. The piece of haddock I tasted was to dry. I did e...
