Their chicken breast gave my mom and some others salmonilla! The food was very cold and they messed up our order TWICE.
The pioneer of Thai Cuisine in West Texas, I'm living In NYC, My Family are in Lubbock, I visit Lubb twice a years, I'm a Thai food snob, Well, Tahn and Renee are my family, as you know Family can be the worst critic, But I give Choochai two thumbs up!
best place to go and relax after work
We went here to celebrate my daughter's graduation from Texas Tech. The salad bar was truly outstanding and the bread was quite good. However, the Prime Rib (represented as a specialty of the restaurant) was mediocre at best and the steaks were absolutely horrible. Three of us ordered filet migno...
We went on a friday night and our reservation had not been taken which was very rude. Then we were unable to take advantage of the drink specials because we had a table in the restaurant. I mean come on it is the same restaurant you should be able to get a drink at the same price no matter where y...
I have been to Cafe J on a number of occasions and have been met with a very snobby hostess crew each time...the only reason I have come back is because of the atmosphere and the food which are good. However I will not go back ever again. The lack of hospitality and service and feeling snubbed wil...
Every time I enter into Rosa's, I feel excited to eat there. Rosa's is one of the most known places to eat in Lubbock. It is very casual; you just walk up to the cash register and tell the employee what you want. One reason why I love Rosa's Cafe, is because the food is fast and cheap. The portio...
I have enjoyed home plate in the past, but recently I visited the location on 50th and Indiana. It was noon and they were slow, I was happy to feel as if I would get good service. I ordered and sat down. The first thing I noticed was the overall cleanliness was horrifying, the booths, tables etc, ha...
Excellent food for the 19 years that I have dined there. You can bring your own wine but cash only.
Great Steaks! Wonderful beans, potatoe salad, coleslaw and cornbread bar! Not impressed with the BBQ. VERY EXPENSIVE!
WARNING!!! You will without a doubt leave this place smelling like an ashtray ... Doesn't matter if you're in there for 10 minutes or two hours ... you will need a shower!
On my last trip to this Home Plate Diner, I stepped to the counter and ordered their signature item, the chicken fried steak with a baked potato and salad to go. No sooner had I paid the cashier the cook was handing my order through the service window.
I hurried home to eat it hot and it was reall...
The food is overrated...the prices are too high
Yes, Spanky's has the hands-down best fried cheese ever. However, employees are not that attentive and kitchen staff doesn't appear highly motivated. The food tastes good, if you like things a bit greasy, as I sometimes do.
The restaurant is dark and crowded. It's amazing that no slightly ineb...
This is hands down the best Thai food I have had in Texas. The Chef Owner does a brilliant job of capturing the flavors of Thailand in his dishes and he is not afraid to serve you food that is incredibly hot. His soups always taste fresh, every dish is made to order, and the food is always good. ...
Good 'Dhaba' type food in 'Dhaba' like ambience. Not the typical 'sterile' atmosphere that you get with upscale places. If you like to get the typical Indian feel to food and flavor, without really stepping into India, this is the place to try out.
The 'Sardarji' who owns and runs it gives the pl...
This is some of my favorite food. I recommend the C-10.
wonderful....if you go to one place in lubbock, go here!
Large quantities of food and friendly staff make this place -- with the $2 margaritas -- a value for anyone who doesn't want to pay a lot for Mexican food, or alcohol.
I am writing this review to inform potential customers, that though the food is good, and the establishment is over all an excellent family restaurant, as a customer you must at all times guard your personal and private items.
