My husband and I first ate in your restaurant 7 years ago on our honeymoon. A pastor in our church told us we couldn't visit SF without eating at Sears. We loved it!! Three years ago we vacationed in SF with friends and ate at Sears every morning.

Don't get fooled by the road house exterior. The Bonanza has a full bar and serves a great lunch. The seafood and burgers are very good, and Thursday is prime rib Thursday. Lunch is 11 to 3. Steve

Authentic Southern BBQ is hard to find on the West Coast, but Nate's recipe fits the bill. Makes me feel like I'm back in Carolina. Go for the take-out. The restaurant itself lacks ambiance, but the flavor is worth a trip.
