My second time driving from Westchester to meet a friend in this authentic Lebanese restaurant. I've lived in the middle east, and I make this kind of food- but not this well! The Ful Mehdammes is wonderful, as is the Tabbouleh. The lentil soup and tahini salad are perfect....... I am a vegetarian and this place suits me perfectly. I always order too much food so I will take some home!

After reading all the reviews, I had to go. The place is difficult to enter, surrounded by curbs and one way streets. The correct way to enter is through the driveway of the glasses store next door.
The food had a nice tang to it, that's hard to find in other cuisine. The falafels were amazing, hard and crunchy on the outside, and airy and warm inside. Very nice as a change in taste from the typical italian/mexican that can get quite mundane after a while.

This is by far one of my favorite restaurants in NJ. It is very authentic. You will not be disappointed in the food. I am actually going there for dinner tonight. They just opened a new location in Englewood. It is much bigger. Rose's is A++++

After reading a glowing 2-page review in the Bergen Record, we couldn't wait to go there. First, we got the bread basket, which was pita in the very plastic wrap that it was probably delivered in...odd, to be sure. We asked for it to be heated up and it came back burned in several spots. We ordered an appetizer combination for 4 and didn't know until the check came that it was almost $32. There were only two waiters--one of them one of Rose's daughters--and neither one exhibited much of a personality. Considering the great review, you would have thought they would have had more wait staff, what with every table filled by the time we left. We have had far better Middle Eastern food elsewhere and the service was as slow as could be. We will NOT be returning to Rose's.

AWFUL! i don't get the people who are raving about this place. The service was horrible, our waitress was dry and moody, I don't think we ever saw a smile on her face. The food wasn't very good at all. The place was way too dark, and VERY empty, with only my fiance and us and one other family of 3. Everything was WAY too lemony. EVERYTHING tasted like it was preserved in lemon juice for a week. The Baclava(sp) was dry and tasteless and WAY too big. A better place for Lebanese is Al Basha in Paterson.

The food is absolutely delicious and the service is very good. Their menu offers a wide selection of appetizers, salads and entrees. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are very generous. You will not be disappointed, why go to the city for authentic Middle Eastern food when it's closer and easier to go to Fair Lawn? I will definitely be going to Rose's more often.

It doesn't get any better than this! Food is excellent, fresh and tasty. Portions are generous. Service is friendly and the price is right. Not your hum-drum everyday dining experience. You'll be glad you tried Rose's place and you'll be sure to go back.

This place is the best excuse for not going to one of those ubiquitous chain restaurants. Fresh delicious food, authentic feel, large portions and great prices. Want to feel as if your eating at grandma's house (if your grandma was Lebanese!) then this is the place! Loosen your belt, sit back and enjoy.

I make all this food at home and this place is fantastic. I love it because it tastes as good or better than my food and there is no work involved for me and my kitchen is clean - they have the wonderful Lebanese hospitality at this restaurant also.
Excellent food, Service with a smile, will definitely come back
