Restaurant Description

A generous cut of cornfed USDA Prime Midwestern beef, custom-aged to the peak of flavor, broiled to order at 1800 degrees to lock in the natural juices and served to you sizzling on a 500 degree plate. In fact, you can actually hear it sizzling from across the room. Here at Ruth's Chris Steak House, your steak is our pride.

And while our sizzling steaks are our primary attraction, we offer a variety of exquisite dishes to match your distinguished tastes including live Maine lobster, the freshest seafood, tender veal, plump chicken and succulent lamb chops. You will also enjoy our freshly-cooked vegetables including our signature creamed spinach, eight tantalizing potato selections, our crisp fresh salads with delicious house-made dressings and a full array of mouth-watering appetizers.

The atmoshphere was wonderful and the service stupendous. There are different waiters for every course of the meal which is generally around five or six. Not for the light pocketed though. I went with a group of twelve people and our bill was over the $1000.00 mark. But it was worth every penny, not to mention the star appeal. I ran into a few celebrities while I was there including one Ken Griffey, Jr. And for after dinner, a third floor bar/club lies upstairs playing top 40 music. A great experience.
