Over all the restaurant is not the greatest not even close! But if you happen to be one of the lucky ones, they make great fried corn on the cob.

Also they have coupons that come out in the mail and some have no specific time of day when you can use them, well they decide when you get there if they will accept their own coupon for that particular mealtime.

I usually avoid this restaurant except for the fried corn.

Not the cleanest or the best variety, also they have a few servers who could use a lesson on how to be polite.

This review asks for stars I can't honestly give any stars. They do not strive to stand out in any area- they simply are a buffet restaurant. If you want food and don't care about quality but quantity- You have found your place.

In one word the place was filthy. We spent $68.00 dollars and really should have walked out. The floors were filthy, the table the dishes, gum stuck to the walls behind us. It was terrible. My oldest daughter would not eat or touch anything. It was not a place I would recommend.

haven't eaten there for 23 years but miss the food. The hamburgers were always flavorful and juicy. steaks really great. I wonder if they are as good as they were back then?

The Bert Kouns site is absolutely awful!! When you spend $100 for 4 people, you expect the food to be good. IT WASN'T!! Both my husband and I were extremely disappointed. He eats lunch at the North Market site and has told me how good it is. We invit ...

I was at the Fire Mountain Restaurant in Pensacola, Fla at 5:30 pm today, June 29, 2004.
I was very disappointed in the food quality. The corn on the cob was cold, the fried chicken was cold, but what really upset me was the crab salad was spoiled. When I told the manager, he said it had been made fresh that morning. There is no way that was fresh. It was the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted. I like crab salad and I know what it should taste like. They had catfish and hushpuppies also. The hushpuppies were not done on the inside. You could tell that the oil they fried them in had to be too high of a temperature because they were burned on the outside, gooey on the inside. The fish was hard on the outside. I work in food service so I know what I am talking about. I will never eat at that restaurant again. At least the manager could have said, I will check the salad out and get back with you. He acted like I didn't know what I was talking about. The dessert bar was just about bare. The girl working behind that was more interested in spraying a bundt ban then looking to see what was empty. The banana pudding was just about gone, one pie was completely gone, the peach cobbler was just about empty. The only thing that looked even decent was the ice cream. The M & M's they had out for that were melting. It was a horrible experience. I can understand maybe one or two things not being right, but not this many. And then to have a manager that didn't care to understand what the customer was saying. As we were leaving, we saw the manager go over the the salad bar and pull the crab salad off. He should have done that when I told him. He could have at least checked it out when I made the complaint. Poor service, poor food quality. I will not go back again. You have lost a customer and I will tell others the experience I had there.
