I used to love to go to Smitty's but now they just don't have good food anymore. Last time I went the crab cakes were more like stuffing. There was no crab meat what so ever and the Poe Boy Shrimp Sandwich made my mom sick.

They used to be good, but now they use frozen soft shell crabs and frozen shrimp! It was aweful. I complained and they didnt care. I gave them back my crab sandwich for a shrimp sandwich and they did not want to credit me the difference. Nor did they offer anything to pay for my inconvenience of having to come all the way back to Kenner to trade sandwiches! BAD!!!

The food is always great and very, very good value for the money. We have been here 5+ times and it's a really fun place to celebrate with family. We live in Algiers and it's definitely worth the drive!
