We brought a birthday party there a while back, Stephano said he'd give us a great dinner for the birtday party at 16.00 per head. We ended up leaving there hungry, everyone was dissappointed in the portions, quality of food and service. We waited almost 2 hours for our meal. It was obvious that Stephano didn't care about his customers. We have not and will not ever step foot in Stephano's restaurant again. If your thinking of going, I would certainly talk you out of it.

I NEVER RECEIVED MY DINNER and the owner could care less! I would never go (I can’t say eat there because I left hungry) there again! It seems unbelievable, but I never received my dinner or an apology. I have dined all over the world and this is a first! I was with a group of people and we all ordered at the same time. Everyone received their food in a timely manner, but me. The waitress told me it had accidentally gone to another table. I told her that was OK assuming my order would be there shortly – well it wasn’t. After the rest of the my group was over half way though their meals I saw the waitress (I had to flag her down) and told her that it was far to late to get my meal now. She nodded and walked away. Soon after she was standing by our table talking to whom I found out later was the owner – Mr. Stephano. I told Mr. Stephano that I never received my dinner. He just looked off into the distance and then simply WALKED AWAY! He didn’t even respond - let alone apologize. We received our bill and they comped one of our meals. That does little good since I still had nothing to eat. On our way out I saw Stephano standing by the bar and told him again about my experience. Again he just looked off into the distance, refusing to even speak with me! Apparently Mr. Stephano’s response to poor service is to ignore it. What’s makes this incidence even more disturbing is that Mr. Stephano hung his staff out to dry. Rather than stepping in to resolve the issue, he decided to stand idly by at the bar, leaving his busy staff to try to take care it. I really feel sorry for anyone who has to work for this man. Mr. Stephano should have: 1. Once my meal was misplaced made sure it was the top priority for the chef. 2. Came over to our table and apologized. 3. Assisted his staff in resolving the issue (rather than stand idly around leaning on the bar). 4. Spoke to me and our table rather than ignoring us. If you decide to eat there just hope you will not have an issue, because the owner could care less.

The building doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside the ambience has a friendly Italian steak-house feel. Six of us had four different entrees, all of which were excellent. The servers had a good attitude and we had a great time. Would definitely eat there again.

Loved this place. It is now a regular choice for my husband and I. Warning - the half carafe of wine is sizeable!

I love this place! the food is excellent! Much better than a chain restraunt like Olive Garden, or Macroni Grill. My husband got a steak and said it was the best steak he has ever gotten in minnesota. He said it was Juicy and full of flavor. The lasagna is also a big favorite!

Wonderful restaurant. Flew into town for a couple of days and happend to find it in Mappoint. The veal marsala was very good. Great service - wonderful service. Highly recommended if you are in the neighborhood.
We have been to this resturant many time's and the food is alway's fabulous. My fiance alway's orders a dinner that is not on the menu anymore and they have no problem making it for her. Stephano is alway's there to meet his customer's and we think being personable like that is great so for fine Italian food just visit this place once and you will be comming back again.
