Let me tell you this place in Port Arthur Texas needs a new manager. The restaurant is 3 days old it was the most horrible experience we have ever encountered. We have a lot of Mexican Restaurants in our area plus we have access to some of the finest restaurants in Texas like San Antonio, Dallas and Houston to name a few large cities. There were 7 in our group and 4 of the 7 didn't pay for their meals. 3 of the 4 ordered enchilades. The presentation was horrible. The cheese was not melted. If you unwrapped the enchilada you would see only the meat with no sauces or cheeses. The chicken quesadias came out with burnt cheese all over it. The chicken Torta and chicken taco salad had no taste. We think they forgot to season the chicken. The red hot sauce was very watery and had a strong raw onion taste. The green sauce was good and tasty. Bowls with the hot sauces were served to us dirty with old cheese stuck on them. You have a no refill policy on Tea and cokes which is a no no. No lunch menu to assist us with price and portion sizes. The restaurant had way too many tables and we were packed in like sardines. Wait staff couldn't hardly move between tables. Now the newness caused problems with checkout. There were two lines formed for checkouts. One for cash and one for credit cards. This caused a lot of confusion. They had a problem with seperating a bill because we were paying individually. It took us 20 minutes to checkout. Now the checkout problem we can deal with due to a new restaurant. Oh I almost forgot the refried beens didn't have the color of normal refried beens. It was almost white in color. It looked different than others in our group that had refried beens. And it tasted strange like it wasn't cooked enough. Well we will not be back at this restaurant until we see a sign that states UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT. This person in charge doesn't know how to run a ship much less manage one. Service was fantastic though. She was very concerned about all the problems we were having. We told her she better fine another place to work because this restaurant was going to close if they didn't get things fixed quickly. Now we don't ever want to eat at this establishment no matter what town we are in. It was that bad. By the way this was the first time that we eaten at a Taqueria Arandas Restaurant. And it will be our last. You need to send some out quickly to inspect this place. It is giving you a bad name.
