Mustard seed is an Italian eclectic café that always take food presentation seriously and has modest prices. There is always plenty of fresh fish one the menu and special board. Vegetarian would not have any difficult finding a dish that meets their pallet. Don't miss their signature desserts the white chocolate banana dessert!

What I like about the Charleston area is their selections of high quality restaurants. The Mustard Seed is no different. When a restaurant draws a pretty good crowd on a Tuesday night you'll know you're in for a treat. Everything on the menu sounded delicious and posed a difficult choice to narrow down to an entree. I ended up ordering their Atlantic Salmon (medium rare) with green beans and wild mushrooms. The dish was nicely decorated and done to perfection. The only thing that seemed out of place was the green beans were a touch undercooked. Understandably so since they were busy. Also the service was prompt and courteous.
