This is one of Gainesville's oldest restaurants for a reason - terrific meals at a reasonable price. We have eaten at this restaurant for over 20 years and keep coming back for more. It's kind of a local secret and lots of people order take out. No liquor license but no problem, stores are within a block. Fabulous mango ice cream.

This place is ridiculous. Take note we went on a week night. You walk in and see this giant hand written note about how on weekends the wait can be up to 2 hrs. We thought no worries it's a week night. It took the hostess/waitress 10min to come out to seat us. She was rude the whole time with a frown on her face. WE WAITED 2 starving hours for our food. THere were only 3 other tables taken when we got there!!!THey had a total of 3 people working there. THe tum yum soup that I have eaten a million times including in Thialand tasted NOTHING like it is supposed to. When the food finally came out it was mediocre at best. The decir is cheap and tasteless lots of hand written signs in bad English. The kitchen did not look too sanitary.
I tried the Asian Buffet last night for the first time, telephoning in my to-go order for a Szechuan chicken combination platter with an extra egg roll. The young woman on the line was courteous and helpful, and told me my order would be ready in 10

This place is not an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. It's a shame that they claim to be one. The food is not at all Vietnamese, and I guess they try to cater too much to what they think Americans would want, and this makes the food less authentic. T

Very good service!!! Any other truckers out there traveling Interstate 75, and have a craving for sushi, this is the place to call. I took the exit ramp 382, parked on the shoulder, called in my order, and was eating sushi within 20 mins. That's wha

My husband and I love this place. The bach thai is out of this world, and we eat here every weekend. It is the highlight of my week. I have been to many vietnamese restaurants and this one has the best service in town. There soups are very good,as

This is a good Thai place near my house. The food here is really good. I don't reccomend the Pad Thai if you are accustomed to american version of this dish (with syrupy peanut sauce) Their version is more like the Pad Thai you would find in Thailand. The best thing about Tim's is that you can have a big party, eat family-style and it's BYOB with no corking fee. I recommend this place for a no frills relaxed dining experience.

The pad thai had moldy sprouts in it. when the cook was informed she became hostile and slammed the dish on the table and yelled at our party. Completely horrible experience.
