Restaurant Description

The Third Street AleWorks' philosophy about beer and brewing is simple - use the best ingredients possible; never cut corners; and keep it fresh! Brewmaster Randy Gremp is charged with the difficult balancing act of producing an ever-widening group of "standard" beers (i.e., beers which have come to be expected by our discerning clientele) while also introducing more exotic and experimental styles to the mix. On any given day, there are between 10-13 beers on tap; including cask-conditioned ales, not to mention house-brewed root beer.

Third Street Aleworks officially opened on March 8th, 1996 when the combined efforts of Todd Hedrick and Chris Hagan made their dreams of opening a brewery a reality. Their goal was to create an environment which would offer exceptional beer and food, while allowing the guests to enjoy themselves in a fun, casual atmosphere.

Third Street Aleworks is committed to the mission of making great beer and great food and having a great time while doing it! Third Street Aleworks also recognizes the importance of protecting our environment and using our resources intelligently. We are conscientious and diligent in doing all that we can to minimize our "carbon footprint", an example being that all of our spent grain created from brewing beer is then re-used by a local farmer as feed.

Thank you for supporting Third Street Aleworks and we hope to see you soon!

It seems every year the meat size gets smaller and smaller.

The steaks are mediocre. If its a crowded night, it would be best to avoid this restaurant. The best bet is the salad bar.
