The Food was great at the Fulton Adobe. The woman at the counter was rather rude despite her addressing me a "sir." This was essentially my first visit and after I ordered my burrito I asked if there was sour cream included and she said "no." I said I'd like to buy one and frusterated because she had started the next custiomer's order, she dramatically ripped off the receipt, rolled her eyes at me and said "fine, you want sour cream?." I pologized to he next customer for having delayed his order,...he also gave me a dirty look with no response to my apology whatsoever and I bought the sour cream from different casher. I understand they were busy, but the behavior of the first cashier...not to mention the souless unforgiving customer behind me left a bad impression of service and atmosphere.

They cant even get your order right. It seems they will give you anything they have prepared wether you ordered it or not. This is my third time thru the drive thru on Fulton street in recent months and the third time I have got home only to have the wrong Burrito! Beware! Open the foil and Burrito before you leave the window!

The best thing about the Adobe is the unique sauce they use for their dishes that require it. It seems that West Michigan is hell bent on receiving a wet burrito in a pool of ketchup. You wont find that sort of nonsense at the Adobe.

The food at the Adobe restaurants is good, no doubt. I've tried just about everything on the menu. My biggest complaint is how cheap they've gotten over the past few years. They are EXTREMELY cheap with their hot sauce. They nickel and dime you for everything. I ordered 2 tacos, a wet burritto and a kids meal and they only gave me 3 hot sauces? When I asked for more they charged me extra. Horrible.

I went to the Grandville, Michigan location and ordered the Meat and Bean dry burrito. The meat was burnt and the beans taste like cement. That was enough for me. I agree with the rest of the reviewers, the Fulton location is much better. I would stay away from Grandville because if the meat is burnt that means they are scraping the bottom of a kettle that has been on the stove all day, there could be a health risk.
The location in grandville does not compare in food quality to the Fulton street location. We work right behind the Grandville location and are pleased about half the time with the food.

They have the best cheese Enchilada's with meat sauce. Fantastic - my family drives over an hour to get Adobe enchilada's.

We love the Adobe downtown. It's the perfect lunch/ working late place. The food is fresh, made fast to order and even when there is a line you never really wait that long. Plus it's worth the wait!

I LIVE WITHIN A HALF MILE FROM THE GRANDVILLE ADOBE IN & OUT, AND TRIED THEM MANY TIMES AND NEVERED HAD A DRY BURRITO THAT COMPARED TO THE FULTON LOCATION. GRANDVILLE'S ADOBE FOOD QUALITY DOES NOT COMPARE, THE BEANS ARE ALWAYS DRIED OUT, AND BURNT TASTING, YOU COULD THROW A SCOOP FULL AT A WALL AND IT WOULD HOLD IT'S SHAPE.IT IS A SHAME I HAVE TO DRIVE 10 MILES PLUS TO THE FULTON LOCATION TO GET A GOOD BURRITO WHEN I HAVE AN ABODE IN & OUT SO CLOSE. THE FULTON LOCATION ALWAYS HAs A LINE IN THEIR DRIVE THROUGH[MAYBE I AM NOT ALONE IN MY OPINION]

I've eaten (carryout) from this location and the Grandville store for years... their dry burritos (super deluxe) and their wet versions are terriffic. In the past I used to purchase 20 or 30 at a time of the dry versions and freeze them. Driving them back to Metro Detroit.
When I'm in Grand rapids...I always stop by ..they are consistantly a great food experience.

The beans are out of this world! What's up with that? Try the all beans dry burrito, throw some guac in it, maybe sour cream, yum! The sauce is delicious. And cheap!

The Adobe is a great little fast mexican restauraunt. You get more for your money than any taco bell and they love to pile on the cheese & lettuce! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick lunch/dinner. The drive-thru is also just as fast as taco bell.
