Since they removed the cole slaw from the menu, I don't go there anymore.

I was very disappointed with the overall experience at the New Hope Country Kitchen. The food took about an hour until we got our food, and it was luke warm when it finally arrived to our table. I found a piece of hair in my eggs and our waitress was never around to serve to my family. Also, the supervising manager was cruel to the staff and made it a horrible experience for us. We have been to other country kitchen's in Minnesota, and have found that they're much better than the one in New Hope. My family will not be returning to the New Hope Country Kitchen.
This is what soul food is supposed to taste like, I thought for a minute I was back home in Chicago, the food is very good and the service was great too, go check them out, I live in White Bear Lake mn and I just found my family restaurant with good

We have been going to the Country Buffet for years. My husband likes all the meats, and I have always loved the salad bar. However, since redecorating, not only are prices higher, the salad bar is boring. I can make a better salad at home. Why did yo

I have to agree with some of the reviews posted. The Juicy Lucy was pretty good, but the service was very poor. The servers were not friendly at all and well try waiting 2.5 hours for a burger and fries with 7 kids. This time frame was not waiting

WAY back, I wasn't much of a fan of Country Kitchen but with it being the only overnight option in Grand Rapids MN, I tried it a couple times and was very satisfied. This prompted me to try the one on 42nd. This one is iffy. I've been there several times and had great food and great service one time and mediocre to poor the next. It's not cheap but at least the "Barnbuster" is a good filling meal when prepared properly and served hot. They also have a butter pecan syrup that is great. With the cost factored in, I tend to go other places, but wouldn't totally count it out. I'll probably try it again if I'm in the neighborhood to see what the adventure is this time.

i used to be a fan but with the the food getting more spendy and the manager never seeming to care about his customers and unpleasant wait staff. cold food, i dont think i will return. on top of it all, the last time i was there there were fruit flies over my table and a piece of hair in my salad. in my opinion this place is running into the ground and fast.
