When most people think of Southern California, their minds typically jump to scenes of beautiful beaches, palm trees, and breathtaking sunsets along the coast. But there's also plenty to enjoy when you travel a short distance inland to the city of Riverside. A warm, dry climate has attracted vacationers to Riverside for well over a century. There also are more than 20 museums and galleries in Riverside, including the UCR Museum of Photography, Riverside Art Museum, Mission Inn Museum, and the Orange Empire Railway Museum.
