Welcome to El Tipco Mexican American Restaurant, Toledo's first Mexican restaurant. El Tipco has been family owned and located in the same Toledo location since 1968. From the moment you walk in the door you'll notice the little differences that set El Tipco apart from other Mexican restaurants. You can be sure your meal was prepared using the same family recipes El Tipco has used since 1968, to ensure you're having the best meal you've ever had. Everything is made fresh everyday in their kitchen from hand-cut vegetables and meats to their secret salsas. Each recipe is unique and authentic to Mexico. El Tipco's menu features Mexican specialties including a large variety of appetizers and dips, fresh salads, homemade soups, and main dishes that specialize in steak, chicken, beef and vegetarian entrees. El Tipco is open six days a week (closed on Sunday) and located minutes from The Toledo Zoo, just West of Anthony Wayne on South Avenue.
