MY SISTER AND I HAD DINNER WEDNESDAY NIGHT. THE FOOD WAS VERY GOOD.....BUT I ORDERED THE CHICKEN BREAST DINNER THE PRICE HAD GONE UP FROM THE LAST TIME I ORDERED IT, AND THINGS WERE MISSING FROM THE MEAL. I DID NOT RECIEVE STUFFING OR CRANBERRIES. I ORDERED COTTAGE CHEESE AND GOT ABOUT 1/2 THE AMOUNT AS BEFORE. I GOT CHARGED AN EXTRA 65 CENTS FOR AN EXTRA SLICE OF BREAD. YES THE PRICE OF THINGS HAVE GONE UP. AND I EXPECTED TO PAY MORE FOR MY MEAL.....BUT. FOR THE SAME MEAL I HAD BECOME ACCUSTOM TO. NOT NICKLE AND DIMED AND HALF THE MEAL TO DISAPPEAR.

I grew up in Flint and went to Grandma's as often as I could to eat. Now, when I go back home to visit I make it a point to go to Grandma's at least once, but usually at least a couple of times while I'm in town. Chicken fried steak is the best, and the portions are big enough that even a big eater like me has to take some home.

Great food, great service and very clean. Go whenever we can, and are always pleased. Just a great restaurant.

The food is homemade and fantastic ! Most of the servers have been there for years, and have become like family to us. Awarded Genesee County's Health Department CLEANEST INDEPENDANT RESTAURANT. The portions are huge. We usually split a meal. Great food, friendly people and a good price. You can't beat it.

This place really gives you more for your buck and everything tastes homemade! I personally like the fried chicken and Brenda is my favorite waitress! I highly recommend this place.

I liked the northern lodge look and it was very nice to sit w/your family and enjoy the evening. loved the waitress (Patty) she is wonderful and we will be back.
