I grew up in Flint and went to Grandma's as often as I could to eat. Now, when I go back home to visit I make it a point to go to Grandma's at least once, but usually at least a couple of times while I'm in town. Chicken fried steak is the best, and the portions are big enough that even a big eater like me has to take some home.

A Neighborhood tradition for 50 yrs. Roma's has the best Italian food in Flint. I highly recomend the Pizza, Stromboli, Lasgna, spaghetti, and Alfredo.

Valley Restaurant is a great restaurant to have a meeting at or to meet up with a few friends or to drink a cup of coffee. Waitstaff is friendly and on top of things. food is delicious.

The food is homemade and fantastic ! Most of the servers have been there for years, and have become like family to us. Awarded Genesee County's Health Department CLEANEST INDEPENDANT RESTAURANT. The portions are huge. We usually split a meal. Great food, friendly people and a good price. You can't beat it.

This place really gives you more for your buck and everything tastes homemade! I personally like the fried chicken and Brenda is my favorite waitress! I highly recommend this place.

I liked the northern lodge look and it was very nice to sit w/your family and enjoy the evening. loved the waitress (Patty) she is wonderful and we will be back.
