This was one of the first places I went on a date with my husband in the late 1970s and I still go there today. It is by far the best chinese in Flint.

It is always scary to try a new restaurant, especially a Chinese restaurant... after having a favorite for many years. So craving Chinese food and not wanting to venture far, we decided to give this a try. WOW... I ordered our usual and what a pleasant surprise. The Cantonese Beef Chow Mein was a pleasure. Man at the counter was kind and patient as I asked all my questions. From what I could see on the inside, looked very clean. We also received a lot of food for the money that it cost. Overall, I was very pleased and have already called the family and told them we may want to check this restaurant out for our next dine in stop together.
Our friends took us here to celebrate a birthday and the food was great! The staff was so friendly and were great with children. We finally found our Chinese restaurant that we have been looking for for a long time!
The best Chinese restaurant in the area, hands down. The staff is always friendly and courteous, the food is always delicious!
We've eaten there a few times a month for at least 10 years. It's nice to be able to walk in and hear, " oh, Mr. Bell,

Excellent traditional Chinese restaurant dishes are the mainstay of this restaurant. The amount of food given for your money is outstanding. The medium to small sized dining room is not fancy. However, if you seek a just plain-out good lunch or dinner, this is the place.
Their take-out business is brisk, too, and speaks to the popularity of this family owned restaurant. This is true despite Wah Nam's somewhat off-the-beaten-path location. It is worth the trip.

I love the food there. One of the better Chinese restaurants in the area. I'm just so tired of eating at those "all you can eat buffets". The food was made to order and not sitting on a hot plate. It was a down to Earth eating place and family owned.
