Worst service I have had in my life. The food was not good enough to off set the bad service. Our server never asked us how the meal was or offered us desert because after we ordered we had to chase her down to get anything including silver ware. To top it all, we had to wait over a half hour to get my bill, all with out even so much as a sorry.

My family lives in Florida and on a recent trip home to visit friends and family we went out to dinner at Great Lakes Shipping Co in Kalamazoo. In hindsight, I would have rather gone to eat at TGI Friday's, Bennigan's, or even McDonald's.
I'm sure this was a great place to go around 20 years ago - the majority of customers while we were there were seniors, so I'm sure the food was more to their liking. The salad bar that everyone raved about in the past is gone - it's was no more inspiring than a salad bar at Wendy's. The aged NY Strip was cooked to my wife's request inside, but they burned the outside. I ordered the Perch and have tasted better fish out of a box from the frozen food section at the local grocery store. The crab cakes were ok - but again, you could get the equivalent or better from a box.
If you enjoy fresh, well prepared food, I would strongly recommend going somewhere else.
This is the only Chinese restaurant I care to patronize, different from all the others. Great food, great price. Since moving to Plainwell this summer, it's not as convenient; but I'm making a special trip tonight for sure.
Worst sandwich (wrap) ever! Ordered the pesto wrap. Tasteless. A tiny amount of ranch dressing and no pesto that I could discern. Utterly flavorless with plain chicken, plain lettuce and a minimum of other vegetables wrapped in a pain tortilla wr
