GNBY, INC. was founded on May 16, 1997 as the first coffeehouse in Gardena with only 5 sandwiches on the menu and an extensive espresso coffee menu. GNBY, Inc.'s menu has grown over the years due to the growing number of competitors. We now display a menu with over 15 sandwiches, 7 salads, and fruit smoothies. Our most popular salad is our Chinese Chicken Salad, which is made with our own homemade dressing (Hawaiian Sesame dressing) created by our mom, Carmita, with the assistance of her son, Lyndon B. Meighan, who is the owner and founder of GNBY, Inc.. Due to popular demand we now bottle the dressing for retail purchase.

One day we were discovered by an LAUSD administrator and before we knew it, our catering business was launched. Today we have a list of clients that order catering from us on a weekly basis. Our customers enjoyed our services so much that our catering menu grew. We added Italian, Mexican, and Hawaiian BBQ to our catering menu. Due to the popularity and demand of Hawaiian BBQ we added it to our cafe menu calling it "Ohana Grill, Hawaiian BBQ". By providing quality service and entrees our business has grown and continues to grow.
