Great Place to go for lunch. River views are beautiful, food is very good. Don't expect fine dining though. Its a very casual family atmosphere. Go to Kozy's if you want elegance.
Best overall in Tuscaloosa for food and value.
This restaurant is near the top of my list of things I miss about my hometown after moving away several years ago. Visiting home usually involves a trip to Cypress Inn as well.

Hands down the finest dining experience in Tuscaloosa. Incredibly elegant atmosphere, piano bar, candlelit tables, great service, and the lamb is terrific. Thought I was in New York.

A surprising experience for those who have not eaten at Olive Garden before. Staff is friendly. Food well prepared and served hot. Generous portions. Accomadates kids. Dinner for two under $30.00. Good value for chain restaurant Italian food.
Perhaps it was a bad night, but the rice was a cold lump and the shrimp was not de-veined. It made me feel physically ill and my husband rated it simply as "slop." Will not be going back. 9 bucks a plate is too much for such poor quality and presentation.

yes pepitos on university is good but try the one in northport..its bigger and the atmosphere is great especially if you sit at he grill and watch your food being prepared!

I went by the Taco Casa location on Hwy 280 today and much to my dismay saw that it was CLOSED!! Also found out that the Wildwood location has also closed!! What happened?? The last couple of times I was at the 280 location, it seemed like the service behind the counter had seriously diminished--...
