The restaurant and the food was just horrible!! Have been to many Indian restaurants but this one was the worst of all. I doubt if it is even Indian! More like an uncivilized food from Afghanistan or something! More than likely the food was frozen and just microwaved, unevenly warm and cold on the i...
Very good Food. Person at counter is always hard to understand but work hard to get your order right. Best is boneless pork tips with rice very tasty. Would recommend this place to anyone who likes good chinese.
La Fiesta is a wonderful restaurant. THE BEST in Gainesville! I have been going since 1995 and have been to all the mexican restaurants in Gainesville and still feel they win the prize :) Always friendly staff and great place to relax and enjoy friends and family :)
Friend of mine summed it up nicely: it felt like we were being served hospital food at extraordinarlily high prices. Just buy frozen chicken breasts, white rice, and canned beans and pineapple...throw it together...and call it a day...but don't call it "fresh" or "savory."
The bang-bang shrimp were out of this world. And the chilean sea bass was wonderful.
I worked here when I first moved to Gainesville and I totally agree with everyone who says the service sucks. I was a hostess and got very tired of having to track down servers playing frisbee in the back alley, or stand and wait for them to finish a conversation, in order to tell them I'd given the...
This is one of Gainesville's oldest restaurants for a reason - terrific meals at a reasonable price. We have eaten at this restaurant for over 20 years and keep coming back for more. It's kind of a local secret and lots of people order take out. No liquor license but no problem, stores are within a...
Best brunch around. The french toast is awesome. If you're in Gainesville, you've gotta try this place.
I cannot believe the service that I was given at this restaurant. We were sitting at the table for over 15 min before anyone came to get our drinks. After we got our drinks it was another 10 min before she came to take our order. I ordered a French dip sandwich (roast beef and melted cheese) and ...
Horrible Indian food! Super-expensive, poor staff. Have had much better Indian food before. Charged my card twice.
I really enjoyed going to Cabana Cove. I took my boyfriend there for his birthday for a nice dinner for two. Being that it was both our first time going, I didn't know exactly what to expect. But after my experience I must say I was very pleased. The waiter was very nice and helpful!!! My boyfriend ...
Well, I wish any of their 3 locations would answer the phone so I could place an order to go. I've tried calling all the restaurants (it's Wednesday at 6:15 pm) and nobody answers!
Don't expect McDonalds-style or Dennys-style food, service or anything else. This truly is a Gainesville treasure- our town's version of local flavor. Each of the locations is a little different, but the menu is the same and the atmospheres are similar. A little funky, but the food is wonderful. ...
This place is ridiculous. Take note we went on a week night. You walk in and see this giant hand written note about how on weekends the wait can be up to 2 hrs. We thought no worries it's a week night. It took the hostess/waitress 10min to come out to seat us. She was rude the whole time with a frow...
Awesome catering and delivery service. They take real pride in the quality and presentation of their food. That's hard to find in town.
The food was incredibly amazing and the price i pretty average! Nice ambience and a very wide selection of authentic food.
I recently heard about this place from a buddy of mine and decided to give it a shot. I recently moved here from St. Pete and love the option of dining out doors. We wife and I went here for Sunday Brunch and give it a 5 star. The service was awesome and the food was above average with a wide var...
This seafood restaurant is hidden from plain view in Timber Village Shoppes on 39th Ave. Someone from their restaurant brought our business $5 gift certificates and also told us about their 9 new lunch specials priced at $7 and up. I had always gone for dinner which is always great. The specials cre...
I’ve been coming to the cove for quit some time and I can truly say I have never had a bad experience. They offer an amazing atmosphere, great tunes, awesome drink specials and an inexpensive menu that offers a little something everyone. I usually go on Wednesday or Thursday evenings for the $4 ma...
I enjoyed the variety of food on the menu as well as it's simplicity. They don't get too complicated but do what they have well. I'd like to see them expand their seating. Salad was great, pizza was fun, but the sandwich bread was lacking completely in flavor and fell apart on me.
