Acapulco Joe's has been my favorite restaurant in Indy for many years, however I ate there recently after a years absence and will never, ever go back. It was filthy. The windows were dirty, but the menues were so filthy I didn't want to touch them. I asked for clean menues and was given some that w...
I just ate at Acapulco Joe’s “Mexican Food” restaurant. It was the worse I have every had in my life. Yuck.
mark it off the list please
The worst I've had. Everything is covered in this glop and you can't tell what you're eating... burito, enchilada, ? The salsa is just lumpy catchup.
i've not written many reviews, but this place is horrible. we went today, the service was horrible. so horrible we tried to complain, but there was no manager or even asst. manager. we got upset and then they CALLED THE COPS. Then we got chewed out by the OWNER! HORRIBLE MANAGMENT!
I know this is an Indy institution, but its yucky. Just walk toward the Indy Athletic club and smell around the kitchen area...nightmares.
Don't go.
love this place...amazing food and been going for years!!!!!
Excellent Mexican food. You don't go away hungry. Well worth the wait if you go at peak times. Price is reasonable. We go at least once a month.
When ever we are in Indy we go out of our way to go to Joes. It is not taco bell, so if you're into that junk, don't go. Don't know where the bad reviews come from but they may as well just go to Taco Bell.
The food is great, we have never had any problems with the wait staff (we don't get drunk ...
What a delightful dining experience. Professional servers who really make the experience wonderful. The paella was fantastic. The caprese salad was fresh and wonderful. The presentation of the food was beautiful. The grouper was unbelievable.
The beer is really bad, but the food is quite good.
Have been there 6 times recently and have a great meal with some cold beers each visit. every time I have felt very welcome and the service and atmosphere has been the best around. I drive 20 miles and past many places to get there. I love it.
The food (presentation and quality) was not worth the price. The seafood pasta ($15) had 3 small shrimp and a few scallops in it, with a bland sauce. The manicotti wasn't bad, but the sauce was slopped all over the side of the plate. We went here hoping for a romantic evening, and ended up sitting...
This place is a jewel. In a world of upscale, this place is downscale and the food cozy and delicious. We had the manicotti which
they made out of thin crepes and filled with 3
cheeses. We loved the casual atmosphere with
local art on the walls. Our waitress recommended
the coffee ice cream......
The food is absolutely wonderful. Great friendly service. If you need a table they will do anything to get you in. We will eat here over and over again.
They do NOT offer travelers discount.
They turned down the lights to the point where I could Not read while dining alone. They refused to turn them back up even a little.
Not very neighborly.
Though I have not physically been to Big Mikes, the food that was catered into our office was wonderful. I plan on checking out their lunch menu and going there myself. The delivery person was probably the nicest I have ever seen. Totally recommend for great service and awesome food!
Just left Big Mikes and it was fabulous. The food was delicious, staff was very nice and it has a very laid back and relaxing environment. This place is very affordable too! I would recommend if you havent tried it out yet.........Do it!!!
Outstanding food and service! I eat there at least once a week.
The food is great.....I always enjoy eating here!
Thanks!
