Absolutely wonderful! We were there last night to celebrate Valentine's Day (yes, a day late) for your dinner for 2. Purchased the coupon on Living Social so we could try out something new. It was unbelievable and well worth the drive from Goshen. Both husband and I got the sampler platter and h...

What an outstanding meal! The combo salad was fresh and delicious. The sampler meal gave me fettucine, chicken parmesan and lasagna - they all get five stars! Service was excellent from the greeting at the entrance to the friendly waitstaff. This was my first time dining at Bruno's and I'll defi...

I love this place! Food portions are manageable and not each individual serving the size of "feeding a family of 4". The food is fresh, pasta is fresh and the staff does an incredible job serving MANY after a Notre Dame Game !!!! The staff is hard working and pleasant ALWAYS even under this pressur...

I love this place!! Too bad it is so far on the south side of South Bend. They do have a couple locations that offer Bruno's pizza, but it just is not the same atmosphere and people who wait on you. One of the best pizza's I have ever eaten!! AND a great value. The pizza pies here are HUGE!!!
This is a great local/family owned restaurant with authentic and delicious Italian food. There is a lot I could say about the place, but to be honest, its one of those places that you need to check out yourself to really appreciate. My wife and I are personally fans of Mama’s Lasagna, with extra t...

Yes, this is a family owned Italian restaurant. We tried the buffet during the week and it was one of the BEST buffets we have ever had. All of the food was made from scratch and delicious. Salads, vegetables, pizza, lasagna, all kinds of Italian meat and pasta dishes...superb. This restaurant is...
This romantic Italian restaurant is a hidden gem! My husband and I discovered it last week, and if you love homemade Italian pasta, this is your place. Everything was delicious! I had their special of the day...a chicken dish, and their alfredo linguini is superb. There was beautiful Italian mus...

Brunos is the worst! I agree with all the posted comments. The pizza is average and the service is awful due to the old lady sitting at the front. They are cheap as you can tell by the delapidated building, nonworking restrooms, the hassle if you use a credit card, and the overall unfriendliness. Th...

The best Pizza in South Bend. However, the service is terrible. The waitresses are friendly, but the hostess and the people behind the register are not welcoming, I'm assumng it is the family? I have been going to Bruno's for over 20 years. Nothing beats Bruno's pizza but I would suggest carry ...

We traveled to South Bend to attend a Notre Dame football game. Our hotel provided a publication from the South Bend Convention Bureau that described this restaurant as "South Bend's oldest Italian restaurant." It never occurred to us that enduring existence isn't a direct correlaton to the quality ...

Everybody raves about the pizza here, but I've had it several times now and have never been impressed. Rocco's is better - heck, order some Papa John's. It's not like you go to Bruno's for the ambiance anyway. I've been to two of their locations: pretty shoddy decorating, old grubby carpets, etc. Se...

The pizza is the best in town. The service is the worst in town. I've eaten at the Prairie St. Bruno's 3 times, and all three times you felt you were forgotten about. I've also brought in coupons, and the owners grumble and make faces at you when you present them. Why have coupons then? Best thing t...

For pizza, I have to give this authentic Italian restaurant FIVE stars! This is the very BEST pizza I have ever had. Try their Italian sausage and add the mushrooms, green pepper, and onions to the pizza and you will be in heaven! They also have an excellent all you can eat buffet during the week...

I grew up and went to college in South Bend and left shortly after to move to Chicago. One of the very few things that I do miss about South Bend is Sunny Italy. I have been eating there since I was a child and it is by far my favorite restaurant in Indiana. I am planning to drive through Indiana la...

Sunny Italy is the best Italian restaurant in the area. It has been operated by the same family for over 50 years. The food is consistently good, the service is excellent and there is a family feeling to the restaurant. It is excellent now and has been so, to my experience, for over 50 years.

Terrific Italian. Was in SB for an ND game and enjoyed every aspect of our dining in this family-run restaurant.
