I have been eating at San Chez since 1993. The food is quite authentic except for the Spanish tortilla. The food has garlic because its mediterranean. It's a tad on the expensive side, but the food is great and I love the atmosphere, which reminds me of dining in Spain. I prefer the Spanish menu...
the food is decent, but its not as fantastic as everyone seems to say. Its also a bit overpriced for the quality....and they seem to put garlic in everything.
This restaurant is absolutely amazing. From the fresh variety in the menu to the exquisite taste, I love this place. The service is outstanding, the menu overwhelming, the product superb. Two thumbs up!
My favorite Grand Rapids restaurant; excellent food and service. Be prepared for a communal tapas expereince -- that makes it much more fun.
