for those of you dined at Gloria's gourmet seafood Temptation's (the restaurant side) is owned and operated by the same person i have dined at both establishments on numerous occasions everyone that i have dined with have enjoyed themselves immensely yes there is a wait for the food but usually i go...
Food is very good but the interior could be spruced up a little e.g. windows are dirty and walls need some painting(the paint is chipped off in places)Chairs by the door need to be replaced.
This was always my favorite restaurant. I have been there with my friends many times and have referred alot of people, however all good things come to an end. Last night I decided to dine there with my friend and when we arrived saw the sign out front that stated 50% off all entrees and desserts Mon...
Pete's Famous pizza is the best choice for the Best homemade pizza that is made daily. The cheese steaks and stomboli are magnificent. You get a lot of good quality food at a very good price.
Skip the chain restaurants and come here if you want more bang for your buck. Their authentic Italian cooking is delicious and affordable. Their lunch paninis are fantastic (I highly recommend the chicken caccitore panini) and so are the soups and pasta dishes. Even the bread is unique and flavorful...
My friends and I enjoy Friday night happy hour. We usually have appetizers and drinks which are great. We prefer the bar area and can get a good table if we get there early enough. Except for the same four old men who are there every Friday evening sitting at the bar for hours, not eating and dri...
Just when I thought Santini's could not get any better...I walked in for my usual fried meatball favorite, one of the guys suggested I try the cheesecake...WOW! am I glad I did! The best I've ever tasted...ANYWHERE! It is from "BREADBASTARD" a local baker I've heard of before from friends. It is onl...
Ron's has authentic Caribbean cuisine. I am always satisfied with my food. The line is usually long especially at lunch time, but the meal is always worth the wait. The staff is prettly nice, well at least the men are- the women tend to have the tipical Jamiacan women attitude if you know what I mea...
We eat out often, usually in Center City. However if we want to stay close to home and have a wonderful dinner, we go to Emma's. Warm, friendly service, and downtown dining at northeast Philly prices!!! The scallops and the salmon are the best ever. Pastas are excellent and so is everythin...

My girlfriends and I have enjoyed going to Relish/Sadikis for the past two years. Friday night for Jazz and appetizers and on special occassions for dinner. However, our recent experience last Friday was not good. When I made the reservations I asked for a table in the Jazz Cafe and was told that...

NOVI IS THE WORST! I went for a pizza and some nice jazz music on a Friday night. The music was good, the food was just ok, the service was the worst I've experienced in years. From the time we sat down the waitstaff completely ignored us.... it was close to impossible to even get a glass of water...
My husband and I have been to Emma's several times. We cannot say enough about the great food, friendly atmosphere and amazing owner Eddie. We have also brought our children there and they couldnt be more accommodating. Our favorite place to dine in the northeast. If you do go, please make sure you ...
Emma's is the hidden gem of Northeast Philly. The owner/chef was formerly the chef at the very upscale Monte Carlo Living Room on South Street. The food at Emma's is outstanding, and it is probably the only place in Philadelphia where you can get Bronzino fish (and have it prepared at your table si...
Chun Hing has been a family/friend favorite since I worked @ PCOM in '83. No matter where we have lived since then, we have driven/actually flown back to eat there. Traveled extensively and must admit there simply is no place like Chun Hing! Green beans n beef in garlic sauce! Beef n waterc...
The food is excellent! Service was nice too! I felt really at home! The complimentary cello after dinner is a great ending to a fine dining experience! I highly recommend this restaurant for everyone who enjoys authentc italian meals!
