The food is too oily, there was pieces of unknown burnt black things like burnt wok or burnt bugs in our food. I wouldn't dare eat there again.

Another U of M institution. Authentic chineese dish where you can get standard or off-beat chineese fare. You may even end up sitting by a Mah-Jong player on the right night. Pretty cool Chineese experience, can almost feel chinatownesque.
I think this place is great! I have been a customer for over 30 years! They have great food at a price you cannot beat--
the service and friendliness you can't find anywhere else. Highly recommended--
Have you guys try the Curry Flavored friend rice before? I just ordered shrimp flavored fried rice tonight..nm..so good. It's very yummy, I will definitely try with other fried rice to see how does it taste will like.
I have been coming to this place for more than 30 years. My Mom used to take us every Friday when I was a kid. The food was always good and very reasonably priced. The former owner became a good friend to the family. She literally watched me grow up.

The wok is the college mecca for cheap and generous portions. They are open very late, the food is served very soon upon ordering, and there is a huge variety in the menu. The Village Wok has come through for my poor ass many times.
