Veteran Chicago restaurateur Mel Markon's famed Lincoln Park eatery, offered the same combination of creative dishes and lively social exuberance. Mr. Markon is the former owner/operator of several high-profile establishments, including his namesake "Mel Markons," the trend-setting "Zanadu" and the creative "Dixie Que". Markon learned his trade at his family's highly popular restaurants in Chicago's South Side Pill Hill neighborhood.
Mr. Grbac, the creator of Jimo's Cafe, Uncle Frog's and Cha Cha Cha was instrumental in putting Wicker Park on the culinary map in Chicago. He also was part owner of Jim n Johnny's, a popular Italian restaurant on the near West Side. Lately Grbac has served as a "hands on" consultant and contractor in the opening of several successful eateries in the Chicagoland area.
Markon's and Grbac's extensive restaurant development and management experience is invaluable in shepherding this venture.
