That guy runs a tight ship..
Great food, great drink and good times.
My dinner at Water Grill was the best I have had in Los Angeles. The French Seabass was better than in Paris. I have never had seafood of this quality in LA. The service was very friendly and the wine list exceptional. I would definitely recommend it.
If you love seafood you will love this place. So will your date or your clients. The food is unbelievable, as is the wine. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. I am a regular now.
I took my date there last Saturday and she was blown away. I really liked the Char a lot and the vanilla cheese cake was wonderful. My date had oysters and the scallops and she loved it. Our server was very nice too and knew what he was doing.
This place is open 24/7, and has NEVER been without at least one diner in the 50 years that they have been in business. Get there early for all meals as the line stretches around the block. Weather it's breakfast at 3AM:,or dinner at 4 PM:, the food and service is the best. With fresh sourdough brea...
I was surprised when I saw the menu, which has both standards and stuff you wouldn't expect to find at a diner. There's a great vegetarian selection, and also stuff for meat-eaters. Try the challah french toast!
Patina was not even close to the experiences I got to appreciate in New York City. It's not bad but cannot even get close to Lutece, Jean George or others in this class. It's rather bland. The wine list however is great.
