This was such a treat!!! Great food in a "Mom & Pop" style atmosphere. Just like being at home w/ mom in the kitchen. The fried artichoke appetizer is wonderful and the veal is fabulous. I take everyone who visits to eat here and recommend it all the time.

My first visit to Amalfi Harbour was approximatley 20 years ago. I have eaten there repeatedly since then and taken friends with me, and have never had food that was not great. I highly recommend it.
quaint cramped room good food with emphasis on presentation
I can't believe this place hasn't been reviewed yet!! The family style dining experience is great (The entree includes salad, bread, an appetizer and desert) The briocole is excellent and is one of the few examples in town. Great carafe wine deals. Located near UNCG in a small, cozy building on ...

I was very empressed with the atmostphere of the restaurant. Very clean, modern, and great area. I was disappointed in my Veal Parmasian though. I only had a butter knife to cut it with and it would not cut. The little bit I ate of it was very chewy. Everything esle was great but I do recommend...

Cafe Pasta is the Piedmont Triad's best kept secret, and unlike the chain Italian restaurants, it's locally owned and has been for 25 years. The food is magnificent from the Italian selections to the fresh seafood, hand-cut steaks, decadent desserts and full bar with 25 martini flavors. Neat touch...

A great place for a date night. The relatively quiet atmosphere combined with the lighting make for a good evening. The food (I had Wild Mushroom Ravioli) was fantastic, and the food was portioned very well.
My family and I really like Carrabba's if we are looking for a chain restaurant. They are very well run establishment. The food is consistent and the service is warm and friendly. The managers are always looking to make sure the customer is happy even if it cost them some bottom line dollars. We...

This is a place I go for a quick bite, but the food is of a high quality. All the ingredients are fresh, and items are cooked to order. Antonio and his family own a series of Elizabeth's restauarants in the area, and this is the original. The location is new since a year or so, with expanded ta...

The restaurant has a really nice, safe and comfortable ambiance and the food is quite cheap and very good. The restaurant is true Italian with gourmet food for the entire family, perfect for a day out with everybody, the menu size guarantees that everybody will have something to enjoy, also offer ve...
This restaurant aspires to "fine dining" and arrogantly claims to be the "best Italian in town" but it should really be put out of its misery. The service is amateurish, and the food is bland and unimaginative. The real crime is that people are still suckered into coming here for one lousy meal an...
Gio's as some of the locals call it, is the saddest example of Italian food I have ever experienced. The cook/owner knows more about selling used cars than running a restaurant.
This is a small, elegant restaurant with wonderful service and food. The prices can be rather expensive, so I suggest purchasing the $25 gift certs for $10 to help defray your expenses (sometimes you can get them even cheaper during special promotions). The Mozarella Giovanni is WONDERFUL. They d...
This was the best Italian food in Greensboro the atmosphere was beautiful and very good service. Over the top!
Giovanni's.....WOW!! If you appreciate being SPOILED this is most definitely the place to visit!!!!
I took my girlfriend of five years here for the first time five years ago and upon our return, once again, my expectations were exceeded. The traditional Italian cuisine mixed with the stiff bar drinks, extensive wine list and professional service makes this the best kept secret in all of the Triad.
On April 5th I chose to take my employees out to celebrate at Giovanni's. This was the most unpleasant dinning experience I have ever had, but it was not the fault of the restaurant, it was the result of the behavior of my employees, who were obviously not accustomed to fine dining. The service was ...
This was the best experence I have ever had in a nice restaurant. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Food was over the top. Thank you Giovannis.
The food is excellent, if you like real Italian food. This is not the McFood at the Olive Garden (no offense intended OG !). The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they pop out of the background at the appropriate times. The place is a bit worn down from being in business for so long. The "w...
