Crowded and good atmosphere with great service! The food however is nothing to write home about. Although not bad but there are better restaurants around town for the price... shall I mention Village Tavern down the road? :) How about a nicely run owner operated restaurant call OutWest on Hwy 66...
Carrabba's is a nice upscale family Italian restaurant. We have dined in the Greensboro location and most recently the Winston Salem one. This experience was pretty good but could have been better. The bathroom needed some attention. A hostess came in and sprayed it with air freshener but that wasn'...
This is my husbands fav spot. We always enjoy ourselves. The food is really good and the service is not bad.

Great ambience, value, friendly service. Wide selection of Asian or Oriental food if you will. Very wide variety of food, some authentic and some less so. Another reviewer is apparently confused as this is not Thai food. Repeat, great value...lunch under ten easy. Recommended!
Great breakfast place. They serve breakfast all day. We enjoyed crepes, waffles, and pigs in blankets. It's not cheap but really worth it for those special breakfasts. We will return again.
I have been eating at Midtown Cafe for years (10+), and I have to say I do not agree with the first review. I love their breakfast, lunch and desert menus and have never felt disappointed when leaving. Even though I have moved away from NC, every time I visit family in Winston, Midtown is the one...

I have only eaten here once. It was a very good experience. The food is on the Tex-Mex side, but with out a Southwestern flare. It was very tasty and the lunch menu is very cheap. The only complaint I might have would be that the chips seemed to be bagged instead of made in-house. Very good overall!

The food here was good, but the restaurant was very dark. We waited a long time for our food. when we finally got it, it was good, but nothing spectacular. If I am in the area, I will go again, but I'm not going to go out of my way to get there.
This is NOT a fast food restaurant. It's a small, locally-owned sit-down place. Lunch and dinner are average quick meals, but breakfast is one of the best in town! Wonderful waffles, hash browns, country ham. Great value for the money, friendly waitresses provide good service.
Great value. Relaxed atmosphere with excellent service. The waitresses are friendly and quick. Great menu and my wife and I have never had a bad experience. My only issue is that I am not sure if the manager appreciates his friendly staff.
The food was pretty good. Not the best I've had in Winston, but it was very pleasant. I would definitely go back.

Great food
Although this restaurant is easy to miss but it is a quality local Chinese restaurant. And being a native born Chinese, I lack the choices of authentic Chinese food in the Triad area. However, this restaurant can dish up some authentic dishes if they have the Chinese vegetables available. It can ...
I just love their Shanghai Bok Choy with chicken. You can also order it with beef or tofu. It is only $4.95 and very fresh in quality. It is not your typical P.F. Changs fusion style Chinese food but is a good home style cooking. The portions are very good for their price and they seem to be doi...

Food was way too oily. Thai flavors didn't come through. Totally Americanized.
The decor of this restaurant is really really nice. It lead us to believe we would be eating some of the best food we'd ever had. Unfortunately, it was very mediocre for the most part. We ordered the homemade chips with bleu cheese dressing and the chips were not warm at all. The hot chips from Ham'...
At first the meat nachos sample was great. We were lure in and purchased the meat quesadilla. It turned out to be very greasy and we could not finish the meal. Had to run over to Chick-fil-A to grab some fries and lemonade to kill the grease. If you are in the mood for Mexican and happen to be i...
Midtown Cafe and Dessertery is just not my cup of tea. The breakfast menu is inviting to read (see the nice crepe picture) and tastes just fine but I just can't get over the lack of warmth that emanates from the whole experience. It's downright sterile. This is not our first experience here, in fact...
